What conditions can Chiropractors treat?

The technical term for what we treat is Neuromusculoskeletal conditions. This is a big word and in less complex jargon, it basically means that we treat most biomechanical problem caused by misaligned or fixated joints that affects the proper movement and function of that joint and its related muscles and nerve supply.

Some of the more common conditions your Chiropractor can treat (if assessed to be biomechanically related and you are a good candidate for this treatment), to name just a few, are:

  • Headaches
  • Neck Pain
  • Shoulder, arm and elbow pains
  • Upper back pain
  • Lower back pain
  • Hip pain
  • Knee, ankle and foot pains
  • Sciatica
  • Repetitive Strain Injuries (RSI) (e.g.: Tennis and Golfer’s Elbow)
  • Referred pain down the legs and arms
  • Pins and Needles in the hands and feet
  • Sports injuries
  • Muscle spasms
  • Fibromyalgia (management of symptoms)
